Founder and Senior Partner, Russell Alexander Collaborative Family Lawyers
Russell Alexander obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto and his law Degree from Osgoode Hall Law School. He founded Russell Alexander Collaborative Family Lawyers in 1998, following his admission to practice law. The firm’s first location was opened in Lindsay, Ontario in 1998, followed by the Brooklin office in 2006, the Markham office in 2010 and the Peterborough office in 2018.
Today, Russell is a renowned speaker who has presented at numerous conferences relating to technology and the law. He is a faculty member of the American Bar Associate TECHSHOW and has spoken at several conferences in Canada and the United States of America. He has also presented at the Ontario Collaborative Law Federation Conference and chaired the Law Society of Ontario’s Technology and Family Law Conference.
As the firm’s founder, Russell has dedicated his entire practice to achieving results in a compassionate, collaborative and client-focused manner, an ideal which is reflected in his team at Russell Alexander Collaborative Family Lawyers. He has created a team-based approach that focuses on client’s interests with a mission to respect client goals and protect their rights by providing custom family law solutions.
