Tara Vasdani is the Principal Lawyer and Founder of Remote Law Canada, a firm specializing in Civil Litigation, Employment Law, and Remote Work. In 2018, 2019, and 2020, she has been nominated for Canadian Lawyer’s Top 25 Most Influential Lawyers in Canada, and in 2019, she was featured in Forbes. Tara has led the remote work landscape since 2019, advising corporations, employers, law firms and law schools on how to effectively run remote practices, and remote trials.Tara was invited to speak to the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Property Tax Association, Microsoft, RBC, ShieldGEO, Torre, the Law Firm Summit, Oyster Hour, CBC, and appeared on 4 podcasts, including Darin Thompson's riveted continuing professional development podcast, Law Actually, in 2020. In January 2018, Tara set a worldwide precedent as the first Canadian lawyer to serve a Statement of Claim using the popular social media app, Instagram.
