Maneesha Gupta is a Bay Street trained-lawyer based in Toronto, Canada. She works as Legal Counsel at TD Bank. Maneesha practices in all aspects of intellectual property, advertising, privacy and technology law. She is the Founder of Mindful Lawyer Canada (MLC), a peer-to-peer mindfulness and wellness solution for the legal profession. Her mission is to raise potential by designing experiences that build emotional resilience, self-empowerment, and mindfulness. Maneesha was named as one of Canada’s Top 30 Under 30 Changemakers of 2021 by York University.
Maneesha serves as the Board Director and Chair of Mentorship of the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers (FACL) and Board Director of the South Asian Bar Association (SABA Toronto). She regularly advocates for the advancement of women, inclusion, and access to justice. Maneesha is an Ontario Bar Association (OBA) Council Member and also the Vice-Chair of the OBA’s Law Practice Management section, an organization serving 16,000 lawyers, judges and members. Maneesha is a speaker and has given lectures at universities and colleges across Ontario, and presented in panel events at the Law Society of Ontario and Toronto Region Board of Trade.
Through her work, Maneesha provides a platform that is uniquely focused on inclusive mental health and encourages women, communities, and organizations to envision a future of opportunity.
